Welcome to VELUR.
The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to VELUR TRADING L.L.C-FZ (“VELUR”).
VELUR operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide customers with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”).
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when accessing or using the Services.
Please read these Terms carefully. They contain important information concerning your legal rights, orders, products, warranties, limitations of liability and other matters.
By visiting, interacting with or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms of Service or our Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Services.
SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By using the Services, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.
When using the Services or placing an order, you may be required to provide information including your name, email address, billing information, payment information and shipping details.
You represent that all information provided by you is accurate, current and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activities conducted through your account.
You may not sell, transfer, assign or license your account to another person without our prior written consent.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
VELUR makes reasonable efforts to display and describe its products accurately.
However, product appearance, colour, texture, fragrance-related presentation, packaging or other visual characteristics may vary slightly from photographs or digital representations due to screen settings, lighting, photography, natural material variation or manufacturing processes.
Product descriptions, specifications, packaging and availability may be changed or updated from time to time.
VELUR reserves the right to discontinue or limit the availability or quantity of any product, subject to applicable law.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
When you place an order through our Services, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected products.
An order is considered accepted only once VELUR confirms acceptance and the applicable payment has been successfully processed.
VELUR reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to reject, cancel or limit an order, including where there is an error in pricing, product availability, payment processing, suspected fraud or another legitimate reason.
If we cancel or materially change an order, we will attempt to contact you using the information provided during checkout.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it, as cancellation may not always be possible once processing or fulfillment has started.
Purchases are subject to our Return and Refund Policy and any mandatory rights available under applicable law.
SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING
Product prices, discounts and promotions may change without prior notice.
The price applicable to your order will normally be the price displayed at the time the order is placed and confirmed.
Any applicable taxes, shipping charges, customs duties or import charges will be displayed or communicated where applicable.
Prices available through our website may differ from prices available through physical retail locations, distributors or third-party retailers.
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the relevant payment method.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery times shown or communicated by VELUR are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs procedures, weather, governmental action or other external events.
VELUR will make reasonable efforts to fulfill and deliver orders in accordance with the delivery information provided to the customer.
Any allocation of risk, liability or consumer rights in connection with delivery remains subject to applicable law.
SECTION 6 – RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND DAMAGED ITEMS
Products that are defective or damaged during transit must be reported to VELUR within 7 days of delivery for assessment and, where applicable, replacement.
Exchanges may be requested within 14 days of delivery only for products that remain unopened, unused and in their original sealed packaging and are accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed by VELUR, return shipping costs for exchanges are borne by the customer.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right available under applicable law.
SECTION 7 – PRODUCT WARRANTY
VELUR electrical diffusers and car diffusers carry a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover damage caused by misuse, use of non-VELUR oils where the product specifies the use of its intended oils, water damage, drops or physical damage, unauthorized repair, or normal wear of consumable components such as wicks or pads.
The original invoice or valid proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.
This warranty is in addition to any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
SECTION 8 – PRODUCT SAFETY AND USE
VELUR products must be used only in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product.
Candles must never be left burning unattended and should be kept away from flammable materials, children and pets.
Candle wicks should be trimmed before each use, and candles should only be burned on suitable heat-resistant surfaces.
Fragrance oils and diffuser products are intended for fragrance use only and must not be ingested or applied to the skin unless expressly labelled for such use.
Products should be kept out of reach of children and pets, as certain fragrance or essential oils may be harmful to animals.
The customer is responsible for following all usage and safety instructions.
VELUR is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from misuse, improper use or failure to follow the provided instructions, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
SECTION 9 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services and their content, including VELUR’s trademarks, brand identity, product names, designs, photographs, graphics, videos, text, website design and other materials, are owned by or licensed to VELUR and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the Services for lawful personal and non-commercial purposes only.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, republish, publicly display, commercially exploit or create derivative works from VELUR content without prior written authorization.
The VELUR name, logos, product names, designs and other brand elements may not be used without prior written permission.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by VELUR and their respective owners.
SECTION 10 – OPTIONAL TOOLS
We may provide access to tools, features or services offered by third parties.
Such third-party tools may be provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may be subject to the terms and privacy policies of their respective providers.
Your use of third-party tools is at your own discretion and subject to the applicable third-party terms.
VELUR is not responsible for third-party tools to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may also introduce new features, tools or resources through the Services from time to time. Such features will form part of the Services and will be subject to these Terms.
SECTION 11 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Services may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
VELUR does not control and is not responsible for the content, security, availability, products, services or policies of third-party websites.
Your use of third-party websites is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Any complaints, claims or questions relating to third-party products or services should be directed to the relevant third party.
SECTION 12 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
VELUR is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online Services.
However, any sales and purchases made through our Store are made directly between you and VELUR.
Shopify is the platform provider and is not the seller of VELUR products.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and VELUR, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from products purchased from VELUR, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
SECTION 13 – PRIVACY POLICY
Personal information collected through our Services is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Because our online store is powered by Shopify, certain personal information may also be collected and processed by Shopify in accordance with Shopify’s applicable privacy policies.
Information submitted through our Services may be transmitted to Shopify and other service providers that may process information in jurisdictions outside your country of residence.

SECTION 14 – FEEDBACK AND REVIEWS
If you submit reviews, photographs, suggestions, comments, ideas, feedback or other content to VELUR, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to provide that content.
You must not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, abusive, obscene, infringing or otherwise violates the rights of another person.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you grant VELUR a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display, publish and distribute feedback submitted to us for purposes including operating, improving and promoting our Services.
You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content you submit.

The Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, shipping charges, delivery times or other information.
Subject to applicable law and consumer rights, VELUR reserves the right to correct errors, update information or cancel affected orders where reasonably necessary.
Where an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

Automated systems, bots, scraping tools, artificial intelligence agents or similar technologies may not access, extract information from, disrupt or interact with the Services in a manner that violates these Terms, circumvents security measures or places unreasonable loads on our systems.
Automated systems must not falsely represent themselves as human users or bypass technical measures designed to control automated access.
VELUR reserves the right to restrict or block automated access where reasonably necessary to protect our Services, customers, intellectual property or systems.
SECTION 18 – TERMINATION
VELUR may suspend or terminate your access to the Services where permitted by applicable law, including where you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity or compromise the security or integrity of the Services.
You remain responsible for any amounts properly due before termination.
Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective following termination.
SECTION 19 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and digital Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
VELUR does not guarantee that access to the website or digital Services will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
Information available through the Services is provided for general informational purposes, and while we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete or error-free.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits VELUR’s express product warranties or any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
SECTION 20 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VELUR and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses resulting from your use or inability to use the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including mandatory consumer rights or liability imposed by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless VELUR, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers from third-party claims, losses or liabilities arising directly from:

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

VELUR’s failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms, together with the policies referenced herein, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services, subject to any other written agreement entered into directly between you and VELUR.
SECTION 24 – ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer, delegate or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without VELUR’s prior written consent.
VELUR may transfer or assign its rights and obligations where permitted by applicable law.
SECTION 25 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms of Service and your use of the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws and regulations of the Emirate of Dubai.
Subject to any mandatory legal rights or jurisdiction requirements, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be submitted to the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

VELUR reserves the right to update, modify or replace any part of these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.

Your continued use of the Services following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
